Meet Deborah

My name is Deborah Offei-Ansah and I am a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (B.A. Honours) and I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology (MACP). My true passion has always been to support individuals to grow into the best versions of themselves. I work with children, youth and adults offering individual, couples and family counselling. With nearly 15 years of experience in the mental health field, I have been able to work with various clientele and presenting issues. In addition, fostering growth in other therapists within my clinical supervision.

When it comes to counselling, I understand how important it is to find the right match for you. With this in mind, my practice is always client-centered which means I use various therapeutic approaches tailored to your specific needs including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, all from a trauma-informed lens

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a process that addresses issues and conflicts within a family unit. Single Session Consultation

Single session consultation utilizes a solution focused method. The consultation provides you with the opportunity to identify one specific goal and receive recommendations/ strategies towards addressing this goal.

Clinical Supervision

I provide one on one supervision to clinicians that are just getting into the field and are looking to receive supervision to meet required CRPO hours. Additionally, I offer supervision to clinicians that have been in the field and are looking to expand their knowledge and perspectives within their work.

Therapy is a process. Although we can not prescribe a specific amount of sessions, based on your goal we will be able to estimate how many sessions could be needed to achieve your goal. However, this may vary based on your progress as each person’s journey differs in direction and length.

Sessions average about 50 minutes. Individual counselling rate is $170. Couples and Family rates are $200. Rates are inclusive of HST. Extended sessions are available upon request at an additional cost.

Payments can be made by credit card through our secure online platform. Additionally, payments can be made before the session by Interac-e transfer at divedeepwithdeb@hotmail.com

Unfortunately no. Although psychotherapy is a regulated health profession it is not covered by OHIP. However, most employers do cover psychotherapy services. It is encouraged to connect with your insurance provider to confirm eligibility and the approved rates of coverage of a Registered Psychotherapist.

We do request at least 48 hours notice of cancellation. Under 24 hour notice may result in a cancellation fee.
